I have the McGaughys 2/3 kit and the installer did not bend my rods so the rear of my truck looks like it is only dropped about 1".

Can someone tell me how much I should bend the rods? and also is there anything else I need to do besides that?

I don't want to just go out there and bend the things in a guess?

All help is appreciated.

Also, does the truck need to be off the ground to remove the rods?

By the way I searched the forum before posting and couldnt find any info on how much to bend the rods...haha

Thanks for the help ~ Chase

the truck doesnt have to be off the ground to take the rods off, but its kinda tough to do b/c the rear rods are behind the wheels. much easier to just take the wheels off. my pedders kit came with new rods, the length of them with the caps on was a little over 3.5" so you can try to be to get a little shorter length than that. hope it helps
