So, Once again. My truck is having the stupid problem where the Parkin lamps in front, my running lights in back and my dash lighs no longer work. Last time i fixed this it was a problem with the taillights being built up with corrosion and i cleaned them out. Not sure now though havent tried .

But, my question is. When they blew out this time, It was right when i put my gas pedal to the floor when i was racing my buddy. They blew right then when the truck caught. Now i figured maybe i could just put in another fuse and it would be fine, but anytime i try to put a fuse in right when it touches the contacts it blow immediately.

Any ideas? Please. Im so so sick of this crap. Im prob going to get more tickets for defective equip.

-here is my tip of the day.
-buy an old sealed beam (like the ones on the w/t trucks or 80's trucks), get two wires and attach them to one of the side terminals and the lower terminal on the headlight, now put spade connectors on the other ends of the wires. put those ends in place of the blowing fuse which now gives you an easy home built (visual) circuit breaker.
-now start unplugging harnesses in the park light circuits (ie. rear lights, front lights, and any other junction connector) until the headlight goes out.
-this should point you in the direction of where the ground problem may be. Use this idea in any other situation with blowing fuses. just unplug till you eliminate the problem, then search in that vacinity.
