I have a 2005 GMC Yukon LT 2wd, 5.3, Onstar, and Bose system.

My Onstar mic in the ceiling in the rear have a crazy loud feedback noise that comes out of it the entire time Im in Im in the truck. It sounds like a fan motor running but it is definitely some sort of feedback coming out of that mic (I guess that is a mic....thats what it looks like). My wifes 2002 Yukon does the same EXACT thing but hers comes out of the front mic. Has anyone else experienced this and is there anything that I can do to stop it ?? It is very annoying.

Thanks for your help,

Otis

Found out its not a mic at all but an aspirator.....no need for replies about what it is.....the only thing I would like to know now is how to replace it ??? Any idea how to get the cap off without damaging it ??

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

No need to replace. There are a ton of threads on fixing it. Just spray compressed air into it and you're good to go.

Also, welcome to the forums.
