It goes to nothing and is on practically every gm suv/pickup out there, may have been some optional thing they never put in these trucks
***it could have been intended for a coolant reservoir level sensor some trucks have the sensor and some do not

My '04 doesn't have that pigtail at all, and nothing around there to need one. I've been robbed! Surge tank is way too far away for it to be for that.

I don't think that was available on the GMT-800s. Not on mine, anyway.

does your truck have the hood light? its in the correct spot the 90s tahoe had the plug for the hood light.
