I swapped out an O2 sensor giving a bad code 4 days ago, and I've been driving the car around to let the computer reset and run appropriate tests. When I plug a hand-held scanner to check if the car will pass emissions I get a yellow light and the EV button flashes meaning it still needs to be checked. I've driven the car on the expressway twice today, and still get the yellow light on the scanner. One thing I've noticed is after I use the scanner, when I try to start the truck the clock resets. Is it possible there is a problem with the computer causing the EV test to be erased?
