possible leaking ac compressor?

While driving back home from VA. i noticed smoke coming from the back of my Tahoe, when i stopped it was still smoking not bad just a like smoke so i continued and no smoke then acouple of more miles smoke. i cut the ac off and no more smoke. Then this morning i followed a trail of leaking fluid to my truck. Could it be the ac compressor?

found out the problem two rotten transmission lines, boy was i lucky the trannys fine.
