So recently I have been noticing that when I get into the truck the clock needs to be reset, figure probably a short somewhere. Today I was getting into the truck, turn the ignition, hear a click, and then about 1 sec later the truck starts up just fine. Look at radio and the clock has reset (showed correct time 5 mins before). Any ideas? I am thinking it has to be a short somewhere in the ignition, possibly something with the remote start going bad? Any input would be great.
Thanks

I agree, it sounds as though there is a short. Have you had the vehicle inspected for this issue?

Had this happen to me, check the battery and make sure everything is tight. I had loosen it the day before and forgot to tighten it up and had that exact same "tick" then it started right up. Clock was at 12:00 also.
