Possible to split sound sources? DVD in back, music in front?

Hello quick question, I have the OEM rear entertainment system and would like to play movies in the DVD player for the kids to watch in back and still have either bluetooth or radio/XM music in the front. Is it possible to have sound sources split from two sources?

Have them use the headphones. I tested it out and you can use the radio in the vehicle while the headphones play sound from the RES.

You can actually have 3 sources going at once on a Yukon XL. Like radio in front, usb middle and dvd in back or two different USB movies at once.
