I saw another member on here powder coat the CK916's and it looks really good. They're the wheels in the For Sale section. He said it looks polished but he powder coated it "super chrome".

The inside of my CK375 replica's are peeling bad due to living in Colorado for a whopping one year. I'm guessing the salt on the roads and the other chemicals to clear the streets when its snowing ate away at it. I've had the wheels for two years now and on the outside they look good but the inside of the wheel straight up looks like shit. One of the wheels is starting to peel really bad on the inside.

Have any of you seen powder coated CK375's other then black? And if I do powder coat the wheels, will all my chrome trim on my vehicle look terrible with a polished wheel? I'm getting over chrome anyways and want to change it up. I am thinking about throwing these ck375 wheels powder coated on my 2009 Yukon Denali on 305/40/22 road tires and putting the new 2015 CK163's on the 33x12.50R22 Toyo MT's on my 2011 lifted Yukon... opinions? thoughts? pictures of powdercoated CK375's?? Anyone??

i think that would be an upgrade for both vehicles. great thinking, haha. I've been wondering what the ck163s would look like on a nnbs yukon. there is a red silverado with them on mud tires around town and it looks good just in case you were worried about them looking out of place. and the place i buy my tires from is actually a powder coating business, so if you are going through with it and you don't know anywhere to go you can try them.

My main issue is all the chrome trim on the denali. Will powder coated wheels polished or color matched look stupid with all the chrome trim?

Thanks Neil. I love the ck163's it looks more updated but I've never seen them on mud terrain tires so I was wondering what it would look like... Are you talking about Acadiana Rim Repair & Powder Coating? Or Rimedies?

Acadiana rim repair. I've done business with him 3 times in the past year so we get along. But I don't know how their powder coating quality is. And when I saw it, it was actually on tooo mts and close to 3rd as well. It was on a bright red silverado. I've seen it twice. I'll try to get a picture to you.

it definitely won't look bad. in some cases I feel people running chrome wheels have too much chrome matching the factory denali trim. I'm running the tex reps in machined/silver. IMO it's a newer look. black wheels or chrome wheels is a dying trend. they belong in the 1990s

Thanks Brandon I agree with you. I mean look at all the 2015 Yukon's/Denali's/Tahoe's... a lot of chrome trim on the vehicle yet polished looking wheels. Just really want the CK163 wheel that are polished and want my ck375's powdercoated to look polished, but still really love all the chrome trim on the vehicle itself. Just wanted to make sure the TYF hive mind agrees with me!

Even the 15 Escalade wheels are semi gloss lol

Not as blingy as before.

I think GM used to NNBS to garner attention from other brands. Now that it has it.... it wants to play higher
