Power door lock

Hi All. I own a 2000 Yukon. SLE.
The front pass' door lock will not operate. The button will will lock/unlock all doors but the pass' .the door is closed and will not open from inside or out. Just wondering if anyone has had this happen to them. Can't wait to rid myself of this lemon. But gotta fix before I sell. Thanks.

Ok . I managed to get the door open. But the mechanism seems shot. Any ideas ? Thx

Has anyone replaced the door latch? There's power to it but the mechanism won't lock the door?? Anyone????

Have you taken off the inside of the door panel off to see if everything is connected like it should to operate the door latch? It's worth doing since you have the door open finally!

I've done that. And it's the latch assembly that's FUBARED. 3 bolts 3 plastic clips remove and replace. Thanks for the response. Cheers

Gotcha, sorry I can't be of any more help then!! I've yet to encounter the same problem you have on my truck yet!! Hopefully someone else will chime in with a solution for you!
