Recently picked up a very clean, low mileage '07 LTZ with the power running boards. Every once in a while they seem to act weird...They won't go down or the drivers side will stay extended. It happens very intermittently- Not a huge deal, but I'm wondering if there is anything that needs to be done maintenance wise like hitting the moving parts with WD40, etc? If anyone can shed some light on this issue I would greatly appreciate it...Thanks!!

When I got my suburban the boards were in the lowered position, I had to reset the control module. Once I did the reset mine wouldnt go up without some help and a ton on PB Blaster. But after working them for a half hour up and down after closing and opening the door, I got the passenger side free'd up and it worked on its own. The driver side I had to replace the motor. They work like champs now.
