Well it seems there is an electrical gremlin on the loose here. First the fan switch now a few dash bulbs and the climate controll lights, and now the DR seat does not work. I did check the fuse and they seem fine..So again I ask for your knowledge before I dive further in any ideas???? :hmm:

Make sure you have power to the motor and good power. Then you can make sure the switch connections are tight as with it being an intermittent problem it is likely a loose wire.

Check the connector for the seat, seen the big power or ground melted many times.

After working abit on the truck today found the motor that moves the seat front and back was bad doing some electrical checks. I also know it took out the seat switch out as well must have melted the contacts. When I jumped the power out from the plug at the switch it was a direct short. Now how do you change that motor cause I dont see any ways of removing it??

You can only replace the entire seat track.

You'll have a VERY hard time finding one used outside of buying a complete used seat. Only place will be a dealer or GM parts source.
