This sounds exactly like my issue. I was afraid it could be the BCM... Have you ever had anything else go haywire with your electrical? And do you by chance have an aftermarket remote starter kit? I've heard that those can really screw with your system. Mine came with one..
I do have an aftermarket remote start kit. Not even sure what brand, but had it installed when I bought it. Hmmm. Wonder if you just kill power to the remote start, if that would fix the issue? Don't know what I'd rather give up: remote start or seat memory!
Had a couple of issues with the HVAC auto fan/temp control that were harwire; unrelated to the seats though. But found out how to fix that here:

Please tell me how you can manually adjust the seat!!! that would make my day!!
When I said manually adjust the seats, I was just talking about the switches on the side of the seat: Forward, Back, Tilt, Recline & Lumbar. As opposed to trusting the seat memory to do its job.
I did find a solution to another seat problem I was having, that should be an easy fix:

Hey I think I found the answer to the problem!
Good News: Not the BCM
Bad News: Still have to take it to the dealer.

According the the recall notice, replacing the seat memory module would not fix it, because a software anomaly already exists. It has to be reprogrammed with an update. Anyway... hope this helps.
