So i have been having troubles with two things, one my side steps goes down perfect i close the door they go up but 50% of the time my drivers side will go down when i put it in gear and then it goes back up, is there a sensor i can replace? Second, my power lift gate goes up but once its all the way up it goes back down, I can't seem to figure out why, i have replaced the latch and the struts but that only fixed one problem. Please help this is getting annoying lol

With the auto steps it sounds like you need to clean them and use some sort of spray lubricant on it and work it in. On my old Tahoe they did that all of the time in the winter and I would take it down to a car wash and spray the joints really well and then I would use a silicone spray and work them up and down about 5 times and they would work like new.
