Hello, I hope all of you are having a great year so far and I hope it continues that way.

I changed the power steering pump on my 2003 Chevy Tahoe 5.3 V8 "Z" Flex Fuel. Everything went smoothly thankfully. Afterwards I noticed that when turning the steering wheel the Hose coming out of the power steering pump gets hard and a HARD humming noise can be heard. I refer to the hose that connects via a circular clamp to the small metal hose coming out of the power steering pump. NOT the hose that connects to the power steering pump by screwing on.

Any ideas on what might be causing this ?

Here is a Pic to better assist you guys in assisting me. The hose attached to the section circled in red is the hose getting hard and producing a HARD Buzzing sound. The one with the little blue cap is where another hose SCREWES on to the pump and this is NOT the hose im referring to.

Did you properly bleed the system by opening the cap, raising the front of the truck off the ground, turning the car on, and slowly turning the wheels from full lock left to full lock right several times, being sure to add fluid as the level drops?

I'm thinking the humming noise might be air bubbles.

That was my first guess!
