Hello, I hope all of you are having a great year so far and I hope it continues that way.
I changed the power steering pump on my 2003 Chevy Tahoe 5.3 V8 "Z" Flex Fuel. Everything went smoothly thankfully. Afterwards I noticed that when turning the steering wheel the Hose coming out of the power steering pump gets hard and a HARD humming noise can be heard. I refer to the hose that connects via a circular clamp to the small metal hose coming out of the power steering pump. NOT the hose that connects to the power steering pump by screwing on.
Any ideas on what might be causing this ?
