I have a new-to-me '99 Tahoe that came with a few electrical issues. Two of which are the power windows in the rear doors.
The driver's rear window only works with that door's switch (not the driver's master switch).
The passenger rear door won't work with either switch. Some how my 4-yo daughter got the window down 2", but it hasn't budged since.
My priority is to get the one window back up (rain, not theft). I'm hazarding that the motor on the passenger door either has a loose wire or the motor is dust fouled (former farm vehicle). I'm going to play with my multimeter & see what I can find out. Electrical isn't my forté. I've been zapped more than once (even when the circuit's supposed to be cold). I'm still concerned about the switches since it's probably the master switch that's causing the problems with the driver's door.
Os it possible to get the switches on their own (no bezel or separate from the master panel)?
Any pointers, links, whatever would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Heather
