Anyone try and retrofit this to a z71 front bumper? I was thinking just getting the rotor brackets and doing my own custom work for the rest.

The fog light housings on the z71 are already design like a scoop so i dont need the scoop.

Question is does/will the rotor brackets fit my 2014?

It doesnt seem on the ppv system that they connect the scoop to the rotor bracket via a hose, juat lets the air flow freely across the rotor?

Also they call it a caliper bracket but the calipers are on the rear of the rotor, not easy to,connect the scoop to the bracket, anyone know for sure?

Can someone with this option take some pics of the setup?!

tube runs through the bumper and exits at hole in wheel well. No tube over to the rotor. You have to cut the back inch or two off of the fog light retainer which is part of the bumper facia, and cut the holes in the fender liners. Easy to do.

Thanks, so no bracket for the rotors. Makes sense as the illustration didnt seem like there was any, description is what tripped me up.

Z71 bumper is quite a bit different in the fog light housing. I would just need a bracket (easy to make) from there run a tube to behind the rotor. Problem is attaching the tube to the rotor splash shield.

I could just cut out a hole and mount the tub directly to it.

Just curious, but why do you feel the need for brake cooling ducts on your Z71? Lol

Gives me something to do!

I'm a mechanical engineer, I design shit in CAD for a living, I love what I do so I find things to do on my vehicles and then make it, sometimes for good reason, others in this instance, not so much :)
