Looking to have a camber kit put onto my truck so far I've been quoted 375-420 dollars to have it done. Just wonder if that's to high and what other who have had this done have paid? Those prices were including a alignment as well.

Also is this a job I could do myself? If so what would be needed to do so. I've done a lot of suspension work just never something like this just trying to get some info as I couldn't find much

Thanks in advance

I have a camber kit sitting in the garage for when the ball joints need replaced. Will probably buy some eBay upper arms with ball joints already preinstalled. They are pretty cheap too, like $50/each. Then if you don't have a hydraulic press you can take the arms to any suspension/alignment shop and have them press out the stock bushings and then press in the new camber bushings. Shouldn't charge ya much to do that. From there you could install the new arms yourself.

If you plan to go really low you could do the flip mod which yields a much better upper ball joint angle. Basically you just press out the upper ball joint, flip the arm over and reinstall the ball joint 180 degrees from the direction it was originally.

with the bushings set in with the new cams on the ends ive been fine without having to elongate the holes.

REMEMBER the holes have to be facing the motor side NOT the fenderlip side.
