Probably a dumb question - rubbing tires?

Lately, every time I make a turn, my tires basically shriek because they rub against my car. Even with the radio on with the windows rolled up I can hear them very well. I don't get it, because they never did this until about a month ago, and now they do it every single time I turn. I have the stock 20" LTZ wheels. My OnStar report tells me that I have the recommended tire pressure...so I just don't get why this happens. Any help?

the nnbs and nbs do this any time u make a sharp turn, not really why. i guess the front end binds up and forces one of hte tires to slip. its not the tire rubbing against anything on the truck.

Oh...well I guess I just never noticed it before. Of course, I've been driving it a LOT more now that it's summer break.

It gets worse when you are at a shopping mall parking with the glossy like pavement.

You should be proud though. They are made to squeal like that. GM intentionally made it so people with 24s or larger can brag their rims when turning. :)
