I have a 99 Yukon. Me and my uncle just replaced the brake booster on the truck. It will now not shift out of park at all. If any one has any info to help me out it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

you have to depress the brake pedal when ignition is on to release tranny shift interlock if you cant shift it with column unlocked key in unlock position i say you disturbed the brake switch on pedal during the change out.

I just had the problem of shifting out of park wen my truck was started and had to turn the key one or two clicks and that got annoying so i unplugged the connecter from the park/ neutral switch and now it works fine not sure if this will help you
