I lost key #1 and still had key #2. I bought a $75 replacement key and programmed it to the vehicle, which was easy following instructions in the owners manual.
However, when it accepted the key, it went is as key #3. This is a replacement for #1 and I like to use the seat recall function as my wife, who uses #2 is much shorter.

How can I program my new key #3 to be recognized as key #1, or alternately, to assign the seat and wheel settings I'm using to key #3.

I cannot find directions for this in the owners manual.

It's a 2015 Yukon XL SLT. Thanks for any help.

Which directions did you use? I notice in mine, there are directions when you have both keys, and directions when you only have 1 key or 0 keys, and it wipes out all keys and reprograms to the ones you have.

This. You need to wipe it and reprogram them all/both.

I did the method where I already have a key present (#2 in this case).
What about assigning the seats in my position to the key as #3? Possible?
Starting from scratch is bit of a pain.
