puddle lights

i have 2007 yukon xl slt and just added new side view mirrors with turn signals in them and puddle lights , puddle lights dont work but turn signals do. is there some thing easy to do to get them to work or how do i get them to work ?

Im guessing you went from dl8 mirrors to dl3 mirrors??? if you did you will need to get the driver and passenger side switch modules programmed, then you will have the folding functions, puddle lights, defrost, and dimming...
