I can't say for certain when this started, but I believe it was after I disconnected and later reconnected the battery, but maybe not.

Anyway, every time I turn on the truck the DIC is set to Driver 2. Even though I switch to Driver 1 and even hold the button down and wait for the "set beep", I'll later turn the truck on again and its back at Driver 2. Has anyone experienced this issue before? Any suggestions on how to go about fixing it...?

Thanks guys!

look at the back of your key fob. your probably using driver 2 fob.

...Balls. Switched to use my backup keyfob because my primary was gettin a little worn and the buttons were sticking. Also, how are batteries obtained for these?

Thanks!

you buy cr2032 batterys from any store or autoparts store.

look on the side of the fob for a indention, use some change and twist it open.
autozone also has replacement housings for the key fobs.

helps if you pop it open and clean it from time to time...
