A brand new Audi S5 ran into my parked 04 YukonXL here in the Hollywood Hills. Luckily the factory tow bar really saved the rear end. The parking brake wasn’t engaged so the hit knocked the Yukon nearly 5 feet forward and up onto the curb. I’m going to have the driver’s State Farm pay me out for a full quarter panel, complete bumper assembly, brackets, straighten the frame, adjust the latches on the drivers side doors, etc. The collision shops around here don’t want to get to in until late January. Thankfully I’ve got people that can do it. What I’d like to know is are there any good sources for OE body panels and bumpers? I’ll check the used system for them as well. And my body guy will get them that way too. Just thought I’d ask here first.

FB Marketplace and Craigslist have been my goto's. Theoretically, I'm taking possession of a complete 2004 Suburban, tomorrow. It was listed as a part out by the owner, but when I contacted them, they offered me the whole thing for cheap. It was, apparently, parked 3 years ago due to a no start issue. If the interior is intact, it's a steal. If not, I expect to break even. Good luck on your quest.

I did get $3k for the bumper damage. haven't been driving the Yukon so it's been on the back burner. Looking to either salvage the bumper or get a used one. Also, looking at putting in a cheater panel myself.
