Question about Heated Seats

I apologize in advance if this question is wrong section...but here is my question. I have a Tahoe with leather seats and remote start (2010 model). It's an LT model with Texas Edition package. The vehicle does not have the heated seat function. I want that though. I am aware you can purchase a Heated Seat Assembly Kit which is a GM Accessory.

So my question is, if I buy the actual GM Accessory Heated Seat assembly kit, will the heated seats kick on when it's cold outside when the remote start feature is activated (like it does for a Tahoe with factory heated seats).

I will be interested in this too, as well as hearing how difficult the install is. I had posted a question asking about installation several days ago and have received no replies so I guess not many have added this kit.

Also, I called several dealers and they did not have a clue what I was even talking about, let alone how to do the install or how long it would take.

Based on the limited info I have on the kit, I would be inclined to believe once installed, it will function just as it would if installed at the factory. I believe some computer programming is part of this install. Mostly just speculation though.

If the vehicle has CJ2 Auto Hvac, then the dealer installed heated seat kit will turn on with remote start. If the truck has CJ3 then it will NOT turn on with remote start. I can look up which your vehicle has if you would send me your VIN in a private message. Thank you.
