I have a 2009 LTZ Tahoe. Been having an issue that goes like this.
Sometimes vehicle starts just fine no issues, AC runs, ALL electronics are fine.
Sometimes vehicle starts and the voltage stays low, like right near 9 volts lows. When this happens, if I drive the vehicle, whatever causes a drain to the electrical system, AC, Electric fans, etc, the voltage will continue to drop and cause the "check charging system" message to scroll up and battery light to turn on.
IF, I see the voltage is low from start, I can shut the vehicle down and restart once or twice and it will go back to normal. It will run fine after this.
This all started after a dealership did my inspection. It came back with this voltage issue and my rear brakes were jacked as well. (I have not gone back to the dealership due to sheer frustration)
I HAVE, replaced the alternator, the battery and the electric fans (i thought at first the trigger was when the High speed fans turned on for the AC. Additionally I replace the fan control relay and the Fan High Speed relay.
Next steps are going to be checking the ground wires throughout, possibly changing the starter (maybe bad solenoid), and the Mega Fuse on the firewall.
I have verified that the voltage is right, when acting properly and is low when it reads low.
Any other suggestions?
