I was curious if throttle body spacers could be stacked to add more performance and fuel economy? Thanks for input. I have a 4" cowl hood so there is plenty of room to accommodate them or does anybody make one that is larger than a 1" one?

I agree with Sunlit (personal experience)...
  • a Throttle Body spacer is not going to give you any performance benefit at all on a vortec motor (96+) as the intake is a dry one (no fuel/air mix occurs in the intake manifold on the vortec motor). At most it will whistle a little...
  • the VMax spacer will help performance as it reduces the plenum congestion - creates more room for air to flow around the fuel spider assembly.

I believe under $300. and it fits between the lower mani and upper plenum it will come with riser for the spider and thermo mount as well. You are basically moving everything on top of the lower manifold upwards about an inch so check hood clearance if you have an intake duct like k&n that goes over the tb and then down on top off it. I will have to get a taller hood first because of that.

you have to figure that out. That is why I gave you the hours so you can inquire locally cost of labor to install. I don't know what your area will cost you.
