hey everyone. long time lurker. learned alot here. now i have a problem and i need help.
my truck is a 2004 tahoe. i had to replace the transfer case. it is the 246 transfer case. i bought a 246 transfer case that i was told was out of a 99 yukon denali. bolted up just fine, truck runs and drives great. only problem is with the selector motor. the motor that came with the replacement case was a 2 plug unit. also, the replacement case has a selector shaft that is rectangular. the motor that came off of the case i took out was a 1 plug unit and the selector shaft on that case was shaped different.
my question is, what do i need to do to get my 4x4 to work? i'm fine with it being 2wd only, but i'm getting ready to sell the truck and i know it will sell easier if the 4x4 works correctly.
any suggestions?
