I'm in the process of installing the OEM Nav in my 04. (15800000) I already installed a 6-CD slave and it works fine with my current HU. (Bose non-lux CD/Tape)

I connected the Nav unit to test it and it does not recognize the CDX. Any ideas if this is a problem with the HU or a pinout difference or will something need to be activated when I get the Nav unlocked?

If it works with your stock radio, it should work with the Nav. The pinout is the same. Is the Nav unlocked yet?

No, the Nav is not unlocked yet. Getting that done on Monday. I did some more web searching last night and found a couple threads that recommended cutting the power (pull the fuse) for the radio for 10-15 sec so the units 'reboot and communicate'. I did not pull the fuse last night so I could use the Nav in test mode. I'll pull the fuse on Sunday when i install the Nav and see what happens.

BTW - For anyone following Nav threads to unlock TheftMode. Check your local independent garages for ones that are NAPA Auto Service Centers. My mechanic told me that since he is NAPA he can borrow computer systems for most car makers. He's getting the Tech2 for Monday and quoted me $30 to reset the VIN in the Nav and enable the heated seats I'm installing.
