Hey guys, just had a quick question. I have a 2009 Tahoe LT. If the vehicle has been locked with the keyfob, can you use just the key (w/o keyfob) to get in the vehicle and operate it? When I tried the other day, as soon as I opened the door with just the key, the truck started beeping.

Actually I think I answered my own question. I needed the answer fast so I tried posting this thinking I wasn't going to get out to my truck. When you open the door with just the key the truck does beep, but once you put the key in the ignition and turn it on it stops and the truck does start.
