On my 04 Yukon XL Denali, I replaced the compressor. Worked great. No warning lights or codes. The next day I replaced the stock Delphi shocks with the Monroe 40034 replacements. Easy install. I'll write it up in the tech section when I'm done, I just have one problem.

When I start the truck, the Service Stability lights come on, as well as the TC and ABS warning lights come on. What I've done so far.

1. Check the rear sensors that attach to the frame
2. Check the connections to the ABS
3. Disconnect the batter and unplug the RTD fuse.

Any suggestions on what to do next or what I messed up? Thanks for the help.

How long did you have the battery unhooked for? Also, have you tried taking both original rear shocks while the news are still installed and plugging just the electrical plugs in them to see if the light goes off? Maybe it's the electrical part of the new shocks that the system doesn't like!

Thanks for the responses guys.

I did unplug them for 20+ minutes.
Riv - I tried plugging in the originals, but I don't think I did the "reset" process.
Cen - I thought I tried that. Here is what I did exactly. Perhaps I screwed it up.

1. Disconnect Neg battery cable
2. Pull RTD
3. Let set for 10+ min
4. Put RTD back in
5. Connect Neg battery cable

Is that not the correct way?

Thanks for any help you can give me on this.

Oh, so it never goes back in? Really? What does it disable?

Btw, I should note that I am trying to keep the autoride, not eliminate it.

Really? I thought the Monroe were autoride compliant. They have the sensor and everything. Hmmm. May have to do some more research then to see if I have to pull them back off.

i dont think so...I think the only oem replacement is just that....the bilsteins def need resistors....I think the monroes do also...

Figured out my mistake. The OEM's are the same for 00 - 06. However, the monroe's aren't. I orderd Monroe 40034 and I should have ordered Monroe 40032. That is why all of the errors. However, for future reference, I will be going with the ARNOTT OEM remanufacture. Even though the Monroe DO work with autoride

The reason for the switch is that the ARNOTT are lifetime guaranteed. The job only takes about 30 min per side, so I'll go that route. I'll write it up and put it in the tech section when I get it done next week.
