I was outside today checking my belts and noticed that I seem to have developed some type of leak. The fluid is pinkish so I'm guessing its coolant. I won’t have a chance to check it out until next weekend, but it appears to be coming from one (or both) of the lines I circled below.

Are these radiator lines? Would something like this be covered under the powertrain warranty (only have 43k miles)?

Thanks for the reply. I crawled under the car tonight and confirmed the leak is coming from those lines, so it must be the tranny fluid. Looks like I'll have to schedule a trip to the dealer. Hopefully it's covered under warranty.

As Sierkonblazer said above, those are transmission cooler lines. You are leaking transmission fluid. The radiator has a water to water cooler built into it for the transmission. Transmission fluid is red in color.

Of course, please let them know HOW it went at the dealership. Because IF you are NOT happy with the service you receive or the prices you had to possibly pay, SURELY Breanne and Evan will make it right.

------> BUT, ............ I am also sure you heard the term about HELL FREEZING OVER. :manos:

lol

I did make an appointment for Monday at the Dealer. I talked to them and they said if it is the lines leaking, they aren't covered under the powertrain warranty. After looking around online, this might be a $400-500 job . I sure hope not because my wife will kill me since I just bought an exhaust.

True...I don't need someone telling me to take it to the dealer, I'd like to know what the fix is. Just sayin'.

I dont see why it wouldnt be covered under the warranty. I think the dealer is blowing smoke up your ass saying its not. Its not somethng that wears down over time, so they need to repair it under warranty...
