Radio almost dead - won't turn on..

My radio will not turn on. It's all dark, but when I push the power button, the light in the buttons come on and go back out. If I push the "load cd", the display comes on as well, but it all goes out after a couple seconds. The warning chime with door open and key in the ignition works. Fuses are ok. What's going on?

It's probably an internal problem with the radio. Check to make sure there's no shorts in the wiring just in case, but I'd guess you need a new radio.

I wish I could help but I purchased a new radio for install as soon as I bought my radio. I changed the Nav Radio to an Alpine Nav and sold the Nav Stock radio on Ebay for $900.

Actually my brother has a GM radio with CD player if you would like to do some research. Its from a 2005 Pontiac Bonneville GXP. All I would ask is that you pay the shipping which would run maybe $15 the thing is I don't know if it will fit. If you want I can ship it if it will fit..ZiggZ
