radio won't cut off

Installed double din pioneer radio. System stays on, I check both power and acc wire and they are both hot. Radio stays on without key, opened and closed all doors. System worked properly with factory 6 disc radio. any suggestions?

edit: Used scosche harness, tested both red and yellow wire with test light, both are hot

head unit is pioneer avh-x1500dvd
