Hey guys, I was looking for a grill guard and found a decent price on a full bumper replacement. I was wondering if any of you guys have run or are running these things and if you like them or not.

I'm a little concerned that since I have to crank my bars 2" in the front to clear my tires, that adding 300-400#'s to the front of the truck may cause some tire-rubbing issues. Also, does anyone know if you can pull the grill, since I'll be adding tyc headlights soon without removing the whole bumper?

if you were to add that bumper then take off your grille, im sure you wouldn't get to far being with thats a tight fit. youd probably fawk up the "chrome" quite a bit. idk maybe its possible. but try and wait it out, are you giving him your OEM bumper? if not then i say leave your stock bumper on, change headlights, then change the bumpers obviously.

ps, that would look pretty sick on your truck.. maybe throw a coat of paint on it before you put it on your truck

300-400 pounds seems excessive for it. I don't have one but I always have, and that is a steal at that price (well not a steal as it is $600, but not a horrible price). I would say go for it. It would look sweet on your truck.

Clearance and off-road ability are not Ranch Hands strong point if that's what you're going for. They are very nice bumpers though, and that is a good price for that particular one. Their website lists them at around 103 lbs. so not very much.

Thanks for the info Riley, good to know. It looks like I might just be getting their grill guard though. I found one for $150 and you can't really go wrong with that.

Glad I could help.:)

I'm looking to get the TJM bullbar for mine in a year or so, but I'm looking to make my Yukon more of an off-road expedition vehicle and that one is the best so far for that purpose. That and a snorkel.

Those TJM's are pretty sweet! I was looking at their website, but I don't see any products for GM's/Chevy's?? Am I missing something?
