More loose bolts, luckily the plug wire was there to catch it :banghead: and still leaks oil from front cover lol...going to see if this dart block should use a specific cover or something. It leaks from the side about 2 bolt holes up. And have a valve cover leaking in the back...I'll pull it one of these afternoons and put a new gasket on it

anyone mess with the ac system?
i think my discharge pressure switch is going out - i ordered a set of gauges so i could verify what the actual pressures are.

ac has worked intermittently, been cooler so i havent used it, except with the chiller i have to use it a lot more often.

the pressure switch itself, watching in the scanner today finally pegged 511psi and ac wouldnt work, left it off for a while, still showed 511 psi. went back out a couple hours later and it showed 180ish psi. unplugged reads 0psi.... now the weird part if i pull the sensor out of the ac line all together it still reads 103psi :boxed: i ordered a new one anyway

just from what ive read, the system sitting without compressor on psi should be close to ambient temp. there isnt really a spec for filling the ac system with the chiller so ive kinda had a suspicion that it was over filled.

pressure switch was def jacked up... showed like 3 psi out of the tube which im sure is just because its range, closer to zero than 103psi. put it in there started up, compressor stayed on much more consistently - pressures a tad bit low comparing it to r134a chart something like this :
Temp-pressure-chart-33776F1.jpg

ambient being a little over 75*, low pressure was 30-35psi and high pressures were 145-150psi. my man said "it just wont take any more" when he was trying to fill it so he mustve seen the same thing. hopefully the pressure switch was what was causing the issues. it seemed to work fine for like the first 30min and then after would slowly fade away so i'll see if it does the same thing next semi long drive i take

the pressure switch goes on the compressor discharge hose, it was reading about 205-220 psi pretty steady. the old sensor seemed skewed about 100 psi (last couple drives i was seeing 285psi on the scanner which i dont believe was accurate)
