pressure switch was def jacked up... showed like 3 psi out of the tube which im sure is just because its range, closer to zero than 103psi. put it in there started up, compressor stayed on much more consistently - pressures a tad bit low comparing it to r134a chart something like this :
Temp-pressure-chart-33776F1.jpg

ambient being a little over 75*, low pressure was 30-35psi and high pressures were 145-150psi. my man said "it just wont take any more" when he was trying to fill it so he mustve seen the same thing. hopefully the pressure switch was what was causing the issues. it seemed to work fine for like the first 30min and then after would slowly fade away so i'll see if it does the same thing next semi long drive i take

the pressure switch goes on the compressor discharge hose, it was reading about 205-220 psi pretty steady. the old sensor seemed skewed about 100 psi (last couple drives i was seeing 285psi on the scanner which i dont believe was accurate)

If you keep having pressure issues, replace the dryer and orifice tube. When the dryer ages, the silica beads can become saturated and will freeze. With all the stuff you've replaced, I'm sure its already been done. Just thinking out loud

swapped the wheels over for tomorrow test and tune, im kinda not even in the mood to run it - tune is annoying me, gave it a quick wash...was putting driver front on and i usually smack the wheel as im tightening the lug nuts on just so i know it seats right. kinda forgot about that wheel bearing and as i was smacking it noticed how bad it really was so i took it back off and swapped that wheel hub

Might have been a good thing since you’ve been busy with other shit and might have forgot that until the wheel fell off. I mean, there’s a saying “drive it until the wheels fall off” but it’s not meant literally.

Probably... I was going to get to it next time I had a reason to tear that side apart
