Reservoir is pretty low with pump running... need 3-4 more gallons easily, but I took it out for a lil drive.
This pump moves a lot more water than the other one but the sweet spot seems to be about 35% speed on it, intake temps stay in the 70s (95° outside) and ect will stay like 208-212. Every once and a while it bounces up but can slow the pump down even more to get ac pressure back down.
I would still like to do more to get it working better.
One problem I've always had was the air filter location is right behind the radiator. Without any cooling the intake temps get to like 135-140°, so the intercooler/chiller are knocking 60°+ off of the air temps.
I ordered a "cobra head" elbow to try and see if I can put the air filter somewhere better. If I can get it to pull in 100° air I would be in a much better spot and the chiller would have to work less.
I may try and see how hard it would be to underdrive the compressor. Cruising at 80, I'm turning nearly 2500rpm which the ac compressor is just cranking out the pressure but I don't need it. I think I would either need a larger pulley on the compressor or a smaller on on the crank?? I have an ATI damper so it's a pulley by itself anyway need to do some searching around.
