rare wheels

i have a full set of 5 16 inch wheels in the 6 bolt pattern heres a pic.i have heard there were less then 500 sets produced.does anybody have any more info on these wheels??

Don't believe there is such thing as as a 1500 HD, 8 lug should be for a 2500 HD.

You are incorrect they made the "Light Duty" HD which was a 1500HD and it came with the 8 lugs and simi floater 9.5" rear where the 2500HD came with a full.

The 1500HD is same as today's TowMax just a rename. Rated for more than a 1500 but not quite a 2500. Also did not have the same frame as the 3/4 and 1T trucks.

They came on later model NBS until 2010 when they changed bolt pattern.

Exactly what John said. I am not sure of the purpose of it but they did make it.

from what my dealer told me they were only offered thru the accessories catalog and not offered as an option to be installed on assembly line.somewhat of a dealer installed option.
