I've got a 2005 GMC Yukon. It's super clean and has around 60K on it. It's been a great truck so far...just battling a noise issue right now.
I've been getting a rattle/exhaust noise around 1200-1400 RPMs. This only occurs when I'm driving down the road and light pressure is applied to the throttle. If I let off the gas it goes away and if I step on it, the RPMs climb and the noise immediately goes away. The noise sounds like its coming directly below the center console/passenger seat.
I recently noticed that the Yukon was but for the California market...however, I'm in Missouri. Could this be causing an issue with say the cats/exhaust? I'm not real clear on what the differences are between the 49 state and CA model and if running different fuel could cause this type of issue?
Thoughts/suggestions?
