Rattle canning the wheels

So i got the esky 22's and they were in really bad shape. Sooo, i decided to rattle can paint them since they are gonna be my winter wheels anyways. I will post up some before and afters so you guys can see how it turns out. But what i would like to ask is should i clear coat them after painting? I have 1 coat of flat black for a base and 2 coats of gloss black. I feel like i need to clear coat it to protect it a little more. Thoughts?

Should have just really done Plasti Dip. Thats what I did with my winter Esky rims.

How do you clean the plasti-dip brent? I cant seem to get it clean. Since i sprayed my 24s, they look like shit. Thats why i figured i would paint them, then plasti-dip them if it didnt hold up well.

Ok heres the update and hopefully the final product.

Here is what i did:
1 :cleaned them
2 :used a scotch pad and scuffed them up
3 :cleaned them again
4 :sprayed 1 coat of krylon matte black for a base let dry for 30 min.
5 :sprayed 2 coats of dupli-color gloss black and dried 30 between coats
6 : sprayed 2 coats of rustoleum clearcoat and dried 30 between coats
(Dont use rustoleum, it doest have a wide spray like krylon does)

Now i dont really care about the tires and the overspray cause im gonna pick up new tires tonight or tomorrow, so sorry for the sloppiness.

Let me know what you guys think, be honest. Good, crappy, etc.

Honestly I think it looks better than your old setup! Great job man and what kind of tires are you going to get? Def go with a 305/40/22!
