I've had the new bags in for about a month now, and my only complaint is I need to soften up the compression of the bags so it will ride a little smoother. There are a few ways to do this, I can increase the volume of the bags by adding a ping tank, or I can try to find a softer rubber bag. If I go with the second option I will lose valuable weight carrying ability. So I plan on finding a 2-5 gallon air tank and installing it in line with the bags. This will give me 10x the volume of air to compress and will result in a much softer ride. I also plan to be able to bypass the tank when towing if I find it's too soft for that. I can't go with a larger diameter bag because I don't have the clearance with the frame rail. If I chose to do the free travel mod, this would take care of that issue. But I don't plan no lowering it any so the extra bracing will stay.
