Rear air ride

I have the belltech 2/4 drop on my 07 escalade. I noticed when I turn the truck on the rear comes up a little bit. After a few minutes it comes back down to the lowered height. Is that normal? I thought the rear is suppose to stay in place at the 4 inches.
