I have a 2012 Burb none air ride. I would like to get a set of factory air shocks and install a compressor that I can manual adjust according to my load.

Is that possible with a set of factory air shocks?

Thanks!

Usually i use helper bags in the back of them with the airlift 72000 part number. Its a wireless set up so you can lift from inside the cab from a remote and 35psi is max you can put in there. We go to the track a lot and a customer of mine has a newer burban and with him/6 buddies/back full of tools and towing his 03 ford lightning the truck would have major squat in rear. Putting the airlift kit in with the helper bags the truck only comes down 1 inch over stock with 30 psi in the bags.

Here is a install on my old trailblazer ss to give you a idea.

Now if you want to save money you can just put helper bags in and then use a compressor to fill them up manually

here goes the helper bag kit

The helper bags can handle the load a lot better than the airshocks.

you can see the controller in my video here about 2:40 into it.

Airshocks for extra loads are a bad idea.

The weight is being supported by the shock brackets top and bottom, not the spring perches on the top and bottom of the springs.

Like Tony said get the Airlift 1000's and run them at about 30 PSI.

Please keep in mind ride quality does suffer with 30-35 PSI in the bags.

Another option is this.........

Get rid of the springs altogether.

Check out hellwig. See if they make bags for the burb.on my dodge i got an auto level kit for 700 and have 8klbs limit. Plus gotta factor in my 3klb flat bed.and a 2klb trailer i can only get a 3klb load before the bags are at their limit.

You could run the shocks with out the compressor tho right?
It wouldn't be good for loads but it would still work as if you had unplugged your lines like you've been asking people to do right tony?
