I went to a paint shop today to see how much it would be to paint my rear panels next to the back glass (my yukon is white, they are black) and they quoted me 280.00 is that good or can I trade them you think or is there some place to buy white ones, I just hate them being black

Please go back to that paint shop and slap them over their thieving heads with a sea bass.

It should cost no more than 70-80 bucks to have those painted. You can always try to find a set on ebay, or some people take theirs off here to replace them with escalade ones so they are happy to sell their Tahoe ones which are the same as the Yukon. Same thing with the spoiler if you want that colormatched as well.

Is your truck Summit White or White diamond?

The wtb section.....

This thread might work too....lol

Honestly though ..... just have it all painted ...... because the spoiler would kinda have to be too. The spoiler will look out of place then..... even if you did trade.

Yeah that's Summit White.

Shouldn't be too hard to find.

The other alternative is this. Walk over to your local GM dealer's body shop and strike up a conversation with the manager. Tell him that you have a few small random parts you want painted but there's no rush, and if he can throw them in next time he's doing a paint job on a vehicle your color, which is very common. This way he doesn't have to load the sprayer just for you, and it actually costs him little to nothing to do the job cause the paint and labor is on someone else's insurance. Most GM body shops don't mind doing this and it ends up costing you a lot less. The only problem with this is that you have to live for a few days without your parts, so it's not always practical.
