I recently had the 4” Fabtech installed on my 16 Denali and I’ve had a clicking noise under stand still to acceleration coming from the rear. I took the vehicle in to see if the shop could diagnose the noise but they told me with the 3” spacer of the Fabtech my rear suspension is a really big bind and the axle has shifted about an inch to the passenger side. My passenger rear tire def sticks out more and the driver rear is slightly less out. They recommended I get an aftermarket adjustable torque bar to bring everything back into line. My rear shocks and the coil springs are almost diagonal when looking at them versus straight up and down.

Fabtech said if I install the 2” spacers it will bring the axle back towards the driver side some...but they’ve had no issues reported about axle shift. I’d like to get this fixed ASAP and I’d love to keep the ride height as is without installing the 2” rear spacer.

I’ve had so many issues with the install going wrong here in ODESSA and there is no one i can trust to take it to and there’s no way I can take it to the shop that did the install bc they can no longer be trusted.

I have not but I’ve heard of West Texas Off-road. I’ve done Da Drop Shop, Elite, and Select Off-road (used to be Complete Customs). I went ahead and scheduled a drop off with Maximum Altitude in San Antonio this week. Joey there has always been helpful and does quite a few Tahoe/Burban lifts on the regular and drives one so I’ll see what he can come up with on why the noises and shifted axle.

I'm in SA, I'd recommend Truckmasters in helotes. If you're in Nok, you could also just reach out to Damon and Anthony

Thank you for the recommendation. I had already booked Maximum Altitude and they surpassed my expectations. I left it with them while I went to EDC Orlando and never heard from them. When I got back I drove in and the vehicle was ready with all issues fixed with my clunking while accelerating (tranny amount was loose) and front suspension travel noise. They also did another alignment and did some process to my tires to round them out. My Denali has ZERO vibration at any speed and drives like a dream. There were some loose control arms and some wrong bolts they found from the install and they checked everything over for piece of mind. He slid over a bill for a little less than $300 and I gladly paid and couldn’t me more happy that everything was fixed that had been bothering me AND they did the alignment and tire mods to achieve an even better ride.

Get adjustable panhard bar and center axle

Thank you. It’s still definitely shifted a little to the passenger side but isn’t a danger to drive. It’s just one of those things I’ll notice moving forward evertime I look at the vehicle so I’m
Going to get the adj panhard.
