REAR BRAKE BACKING PLATES

It's a pretty easy fix with the 2 piece ones. Just use tin snips to cut the old ones off, and the new ones go on pretty easy. It's a couple hour job. Whoever came up with the 2 piece idea was a genius. Having to pull the axles would be crazy. But then I had to do this to my daughters VW just to swap headlights today. View attachment 64260

Yeah i don't even think the guy at the shop knew about the 2 piece ones lol. & whoa thats rough just to get to the headlights, sounds like a remove the tire just to get to the battery type of thing lol.

Yeah, removed the entire front clip for headlights. Especially annoying since my Denali requires no tools and seconds to do. Hats off to GM engineers for that.

Not really hard at all. Took about 3 hours, but I also replaced the r/rear E brake cable and painted the calipers.
