Well, Friday on my way into work, I was in my Tahoe and rear-ended. I'm fortunately fine besides being sore, but I need a new bumper. I was considering putting an escalade rear bumper on it, as I really like the ass end of my wife's esky, but I'm not sure how well it will flow with the truck. Does anyone have any pictures?

Going to do a little bit of an overhaul while its in the shop. Getting a 3/5 lowering kit, 22" tbss replica wheels, slp exhaust tips, door trim either repainted or removed, and roof rack removed and shaved. Side steps will probably come off too. Haven't decided yet.

The area where the 3rd brake light is, is it removable easily? I think it would give it the look of a ss Tahoe when done.

Any other advice for things to do while it's in there?

The bumper looks great especially the platinum one with sexy pipes built in. Demold it and be happy. The third can be removed but don't know any that shaved it down from the stock flare edge. I love the caddy third for looks.

Get the esky one you won't regret it. Hitch cover on them is way cleaner. The 2010-2014 Tahoe LTZ's come stock with the esky/denali bumper. Mine came with it:
