Rear cargo area mat?

Does anyone run the carpet mat in the cargo area of their ride? I have been wanting to get one for my burb lately with how much stuff I have been throwing back there etc. Factory or aftermarket? I wont run weathertech stuff cause as good as it is, the hard rubber stuff makes things I put back there slide and that is a no go when talking about perfectly painted hotrod parts etc.

(if you go to "configure" you can pick the type of mat and color, etc)

If I have to haul something gross, I have a plastic mat from a different vehicle that I throw back there but take it out when I don't need it. I've never used my 3rd row seats, but if I did need to, the carpet mat could be rolled up and stowed easily. (unlike a plastic tray)

I like the Lloyd mat a lot, stuff doesn't roll around as much and I think it helps to dampen noise. Plus it looks great. I can take a pic of it later if you'd like.

I have a weather beater mat in mine and its very similar to the weather techs, it a rigid plastic/rubber, which you didnt want.

Another Option.

I have a 4' x 6' mat manufactured by 3M, with the model name of Nomad Cushion Plus, that I've had in my previous and current truck for about 5 years. I've carried everything from cement, to plywood, to firewood, to fragile housewares on it, and it is still in the same condition that it was when I originally installed it.

It is heavy-weight, but flexible, and rolls up nicely, when you don't need it. The backing is about 3/16" thick, and the top is made of fiber loops coated in a plastic, probably urethane. It is virtually indestructible, and I strongly recommend it.
