my driver side rear cargo door latch does not open the door. to get it open i have to pop it open with a screw driver from up top and pull the handle. it seems like some of the latching rods might be loose since if the door is only partially closed (half way on the latch but not fully closed but is latched) and i can open it with only the handle like normal.

i've tried looking at it b4 but havent really figured out how the plastic around the window comes off. i took the screws off but it seems like its glued in there or something like that. just looking for how i can adjust the latch to be able to open the door normal

I'm having a similar problem, my lower latch wouldnt release. I got into the door and one of the rod ends broke off. The carpeted piece below the window is held in with the same style clips as the door panels. You can pull it off, just be gentle cause the particle board stuff they use breaks easy. Take that off then there is a piece of plastic behind it. I pulled mine off, and then you can work on the rods and what not.

ya i figured out that my lower door latch was pushed back against the rod it latches on to and wasnt latching. it was ceased in that position so i ran some oil over it and freed it up and its all good now

^ good to hear :)

I had an issue with my dome lights flikering on and off while driving.I then tracked it to my rear window latch.I loosened the bolt and moved the latch in a tad bit and re-tightend the bolt.So far so good, knock on wood lol.

Im guessing that the rear gate/window was used alot being a ex-D.O.T. unit.
